Tuesday was most definitely a SPECIAL Day.....just as it has been for the last 26 years on February 7TH. It was our 26TH Wedding Anniversary. Although the picture above was taken a couple years after we were married, I can remember well the day 26 years ago when we “eloped” and flew to Las Vegas to get married. It sure doesn't seem like it was that many years ago We flew out of Tallahassee, Florida to Atlanta and then a non-stop flight to Las Vegas. I booked FIRST CLASS and set back enjoying a Champagne breakfast with my Lovely Bride-to-be. It was an exciting time to say the least.
As the Pilot announced that we were passing over Memphis, I noticed a tear in Ms. Pats eyes, but a smile on her face. Being concerned, I ask her what was the matter. She replied that they were happy tears and that she had never before been West of the Mississippi River. As I leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek, I remember saying “You ain’t seen nothing YET” !
It has been a wonderful life and we have enjoyed so many things together. I hope we can both make it another 26 years. Hmm, now my eyes are tearing up.

My Dillon Reloader came in Monday, so I had a good time putting it together. I’m happy to say it was made right here in the good ole' USA, and the instructions are in English only!!
Nice, easy to read and understand instructions but lots of little intricate parts.
Here is the completed unit almost all set up, with the exception of the "dies". They forgot one item and I had to call them but they agreed to send me the Bullet Tray. Just a mere $40.00 item that they overlooked. :-) It should be here in a week. Meanwhile I’m still reading and studying on how to use this thing. It's rather complicated, tedious and can be dangerous if not done properly and carefully. Oh, what I wouldn’t do to have my good buddy JRoger from Florida here to guide me. He has 5 of these loaders and is a true expert in the field.
I’m going to be needing this machine up and running soon. Ms. Pat shot 150 rounds at her match at Wickenburg Gun club yesterday and I shot over 50 rounds myself just practicing. At that rate, a couple times a week, our ammo is going fast…..
We had an enjoyable Happy Hour Anniversary celebration with our good friends Larry and Geri last night. They are the former owner/operators of Broken Arrow RV Park just 3 miles South of our place in Custer, South Dakota. It is nice to have them here with us for a while. They are recently retired, full timers and are enjoying life in the South very much…..
It is a GREAT WEEK!!!!
Now as Ms. Pat heads off to her dance class, I will get started on preparing the Motorhome for our short trip over to Ben Avery Shooting Facilities for our gun training. We have reservations at their campground and the weather looks great so we're looking forward to scratching our "hitch itch" along with some good shooting exercises.
Thanks for stopping by..... hope your having a good week!
Mike

When I retired from the PD I got a good deal on some 9mm & 40cal ammo and squirreled away about 1000 rounds of each, well between my son and me the supply is almost gone now and boy has ammo gone up, shooting can be an expensive hobby, your doing the right thing to make it cost effective by reloading your own, those shells will last through many reloadings. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

Fun to have Geri and Larry there to help you celebrate, give them a hug for us! Remind us to tell you the story of how Michael almost blew up his Dillon 650 press and scared a few years off both of us! He never loaded another round with it but continues to this day to use his 550.
