The Broken Chain

We are still in Tucson, AZ. dealing with this terrible tragedy of the loss of our oldest son Mikel. Ms Pat and I want to thank all of you for your Prayers, Thoughts and Friendship. It has meant so much to us and helped us get through it all. Rollie and Gina are still with us giving us their full support and love.

I am totally numb and can't write a Blog; however, I did want you to read this poem:

THE BROKEN CHAIN

I little knew that morning
God was going to call your name,
In life I loved you dearly,
in death I do the same.

It broke my heart to lose you,
you did not go alone,
for part of me went with you,
the day God called you home.

You left me beautiful memories,
your love is still my guide,
and though we cannot see you,
 you're always at my side.

Our family chain is broken
 and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
 the chain will link again.

-Anonymous

Thank God for His many blessings and all the things He does for us.
