Think SNOW !

As I sit down here in this sweltering heat in Arizona, I can’t help but think of what happened the day we planned on leaving Custer, SD. last Oct…..   A real blizzard.   Needless to say we had to delay our departure a few days. Here are a few pictures of the predicament we were in, trying to get south.
That is good friend Gregg digging us out.

It was 114* in Phoenix last week and 112* here at Congress….   Talk about two extremes!!!
Hope everyone is having a good summer…
Mike

You got the right idea with those snow pics Mike. It's the only way your gonna get cooled off down there. OMG 112 in Congress. All the stuff I planted must be just shriveled up dead sticks by now. Thanks for driving by a short while ago. And hey I remember having snow in Congress 2 & 3 winters ago........

It really has been a hot hot summer down your way this year. I'm glad we can still get out of there and head north. But I sure do look forward to getting back there in the fall.

I just said to Marsha a day or so ago..."Mike McFall said we was going to start blogging occasionally and he posted once and stopped." Next thing I know you publish a post. Funny how that happens!

Yep...won't be long...this crazy weather has us wondering.

Plan on being over your way this winter. Hope to stop and say "hello."

Enjoy the heat while you can!

And the snowy weather will be here again before we know it. The summer's been strange, wonder what winter will bring.

Wish you could be here with us in Indy. This has been the coolest summer in 100 years. It is in the 70's today. At least it beats AZ, but we can hardly wait to be on the road. The car went to the hospital to be fixed this morning. We are getting closer!
