We got Heat!!

DSC_3720
Our Comfort Cove Radiant Heaters have been ordered for a couple of weeks and yesterday they arrived. We knew we had to get them installed, as Sunday when we got up it was 32*.  We had the wiring for the heaters and the thermostats already done, so it didn’t take long to get them hung on the walls.

The first one in the living room is up. We put two in the living room, one in the bedroom and one small one in the bathroom.

One more to go in the bedroom….

There....the Bedroom is done! That does it. Heat Installed…. Hurray!!  One more little job completed. I think we are getting to the end. Time to sit back and enjoy this great little place, that is until Ms. Pat thinks of some other little project…..:-)

We were extremely happy yesterday when Ron and JerrieLea, our good friends from Arizona, stopped to see us. Our front yard was wide open, so we talked them in to staying the night. They could only stay for one night and this morning they have to head out early, as they need to get back to Arizona to take care of some personal matters. We look forward to seeing them down there this winter. Have a safe trip folks!

It is a GREAT WEEK!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you will find time to stop back Sunday and see what we can dig up that’s exciting around here.. Until then, may the good Lord take a likin' to ya!!

That's an interesting concept with those radiant heaters high up on the walls like that. I've always been used to seeing heaters at the bottom of walls. Must be something new. Maybe my thinking is still back in the cave man days when everybody huddled around a fire pit in the middle of the cave's floor:))

Your place is looking very pretty and cozy. You'll just all nicely get settled in and it will be time to go RVing again. But you'll always have this lovely place to come back to.
Enjoy.....

I was thinking like Al never saw heaters mounted so high, but they must know more than I do. Looks like you have all the creature comforts now, running water, light, heat, and a bathroom inside the house. Is this a great country or what. Be safe out there. my friend. Sam & Donna...

We're kind of with Al on the heaters. We've always felt that baseboard heaters were the way to go, as heat rises. As Al says, must be a newer and better technology. Maybe you'll address this topic Sunday! Enjoyed seeing the picture of the Hopfs -- we see them at our Chapter 21 rallies and in the Saguaro Co-op park now and then. They are nice people.

Question from this woman...why are the heaters way up by the ceiling? I have never seen this before.
