Never Weaken!!

That’s my Motto,"Never Weaken"! We have so much going on all the time that people have asked me if we ever slow down.  I always answer “Heck NO!  If I slowed down, I would probably die”! I’m not ready to cash in just yet, so I want to keep going and “Never Weaken”.

I do wish we could get this floor done in our Cabin though, and the kitchen cabinets in. Ms. Pat keeps calling and pushing but delays keep happening. If it's not done by the end of this month, I’m going to SHOOT somebody!! Probably myself!! LOL  I'm getting tired of all these excuses and procrastination.

For the 4TH of July celebration, Crazy Horse Memorial had a special BLAST. It was at 11:00am and we happened to find ourselves right out in front along the highway at that time so we stopped to watch. Well, I guess we kind of planned it that way.  :-)  Here we are posing for a picture just before the BIG BLAST!

Here is the BIG BOOM…..It shook the ground!

For those of you that haven’t seen the monument lately, here is a close-up right after this latest blast. This will bring you up to date on how it continues to develop. It is really taking form now and we enjoy having this outstanding Monument just 7 miles from our house.  Here's another link to the Night Blast a few weeks ago in celebration of Ruth Ziolkowski's 85th birthday.  She is President and wife of Sculptor Korczak Zioldowski.
June 26th, 2011 Crazy Horse Memorial Night Blast Video  There were 85 big booms and we could hear them from our place.

In our spare time :-),  we have been shipping out a bunch of PressurePro systems and accessories. I also sold the Motorcycle lift I purchased last year (and never used) and prepared it for shipment.

Here it is all strapped to a pallet and ready to go to a gentleman way back East to Connecticut. This thing is HEAVY!! I’m thankful JRoger was here to help me haul it up to the local lumber yard and strap it down. Rollie picked this up for me while he was in Montana, back when I thought I was going to haul my Harley around with me. I later decided I would just have to leave the bike here in the Black Hills. Rollie manhandled it into his truck and knows just how heavy it is. Thanks again Rollie, lots of IRON.

JRoger and Susan wanted to do a little Varmint shooting while they were here. So I got in touch of my X-boss and Game Warden Ron and he arranged for a place for us to shoot. Here we are visiting with him out in the Park while he was working. Ron is one of our best friends and we think an awful lot of him. When I took this picture, I told Ms. Pat that I was going to tell everyone that she was using some of her southern sweet talk trying to get this Ranger not to write her a ticket. LOL

Soon I had JRoger about 20 miles out in a Federal Grassland management area with lot’s of "Varmints" and he gets zeroed in with one of his superb rifles.

This was a beautiful area and we were all alone, but due to all the heavy rains this year I couldn’t get my truck back in there. So we will return tomorrow with the 4 wheelers. It will be a piece of cake with them.  Thanks to our photographer Susan, I have zillions more pictures I would love to show you. However, again this Blog is getting way longer than I wanted it and you're probably all bored by now anyhow.

We are looking forward to coming back to this area Monday with the Polaris’s and get farther back into this beautiful wilderness. Thanks Ron for your expert directions.

It was a GREAT WEEK!!!!  I must pause for a moment and Praise our Father and Almighty God for all this and everything else he provides for us.

Thanks for stopping by……..wish you were here!

Travel Safe  and Never Weaken!

Beautiful country out there.

Thanks for the comment on my blog also. I guess we just never know how much time we have with those we love, so make every day count. I know both of my brothers did that.

Love your blog. Will be in the Rapid City area soon so anxious to see how Crazy Horse has progressed since our last visit. We met Pat in Yuma at the Gypsy Journal rally but Mike you were busy selling Pressure Pro Systems. Smile......

Thanks for the update on Crazy Horse. We were there years ago before they started the blasting. The area looks lovely! I also thank our Mighty God for this wonderful lifestyle.
